Ferguson Plarre's plant-based sausage roll is made from a special recipe with shitake mushrooms, carrots, potatoes, onions, chickpeas, garlic, onions and our secret blend of herbs and spices.

WHAT IS VEGAN FRIENDLY?

Ferguson Plarre's Plant-Based Aussie Pie and Plant-Based Sausage Roll contain absolutely no animal ingredients which makes them vegan-friendly.  The products are made with the same equipment as our meat-based savouries but please rest assured that equipment is thoroughly sanitised before production and all Plant-Based items are produced prior to any meat based products to ensure that there is no chance of contamination.

HOW IS THE “MEAT” MADE?

The mince in both products is made using a special recipe that we’ve developed over the last 14 months, using a unique range of healthy vegetables, combined with a natural wheat gluten recipe called Seitan.

It is made by washing wheat flour dough with water until all the starch granules have been removed, leaving a sticky insoluble gluten product, which is then cooked before being eaten.
